Natural Dyed Yarn

It’s a sunny Southern California day as I dawn my sun hat and tie my foraging apron. I head off into the trails surrounding my little ranch home as I clip and prune and gather this native shrub. Carefully weighing what I’ve gathered I decide to what to dye with it and set to work. I love working with pure, whole dye stuffs and the surprise and life it brings to pieces each time. I spent a great deal of time sourcing the most sustainable, yet soft wool and I sure hope you enjoy it. I’d love to see what you make ❤️
